I'll pick you up at Train or metro station in Rome and I'll bring you by car or minibus in my small town near Rome (Nemi). I'll bring you in the ancient wood, sacred for Romans and I'll tell you all its secrets having breakfast and lunch with typical products. We will reach an ancient spring where we will have lunch and we will enjoy breath-taking view on Nemi's Lake and beautiful nature.

Experience

We'll start with a walk in the town to reach the panoramic viewpoint, 

We'll have breakfast with Nemi’s typical pastry and juice, looking Nemi's Lake from the panoramic viewpoint called "Nemi's roof".

then we'll enter into the wood and we'll reach an area called Fontan Tempesta where we'll discover an ancient spring

Near the spring, we will have a picnic with typical Italian food, cheese and cured meats and a glass of local wine

then we'll go on with our walk reaching a new panoramic viewpoint to see the ruins of ancient Diana's temple.

The wood

In the Nemi's sacred wood  the pathway runs between chestnuts and oak trees. We will see many kind of plants. and we'll have cool the weather and luxuriant nature. To wlk in the wood is reelaxing and enjoiable.
